Dear Legacy Volunteers,
Many of you may have heard of Run Army over the past five years. Run Army is an Army initiative that promotes health and wellbeing but importantly raises money for Legacy among other first responder charities. I wanted to seek expressions of interest from Legacy Volunteers to support Run Army on Sunday 30 March at Southbank, Brisbane. I have already roped in my own family members, who have like you, volunteered with Legacy for many years.
The Role: the support requested from volunteers is quite flexible and ranges from marshalling, to assisting with registrations and bag drop or simply greeting participants and providing basic event information.
Timings:
- Saturday 29 March 1000 h – 1600 h and/or
- Sunday 30 March 0530 – 1100 h
Whatever time you can offer would be appreciated.
Location: Southbank Cultural Forecourt. More specific RV locations will be provided to volunteers.
Dress: If you would like to wear a Legacy shirt and comfortable shoes that would be fantastic, however we can also offer a Run Army t-shirt to volunteers.
