Commencement of construction on Legacy Brisbane’s multi-disciplinary, collaborative care centre, Legacy House was marked today, 21st of June 2024, with an official sod turning on the site within Greenslopes hospital and medical research precinct in South East Queensland.
The ceremony was attended by the Governor of Queensland, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD and the Minister for Veterans’ Affairs and Defence Personnel, the Honourable Matt Keogh MP as well as the Finance Chair and Coorparoo Ward Councillor Fiona Cunningham and Member for Greenslopes Mr Joe Kelly MP, who attended on behalf of the Brisbane City Council and Queensland State Government respectively.
